We started Involvio with a singular mission: transforming students’ lives through involvement and active participation. We’ve always deeply understood that involvement - through events, groups, and activities - offers a unique opportunity to forge connection with others. It’s this connection that provides students with critical pathways for personal growth and self-development from orientation through graduation and beyond.
Over the course of the last year and a half, as we reimagined what student experience could be in remote and hybrid environments, it’s become clear that the key driver of student success is connection. Through our integrations with Cisco Webex, our team pioneered new ways for students, professors, and administrators to teach, learn, and ultimately, to stay connected, no matter where they were.
Our customers’ rapid adoption of our capabilities propelled record growth on our platform. We’re thrilled to share that Involvio has now supported more than 5 million students across more than 1,000 institutions and has powered more than 75 million events. This rapid growth reminded us just how impactful our technology and team could be in service to our mission.
That’s why we’re excited to share the news of Cisco’s intent to acquire Involvio. Cisco Webex is integrated with many of the apps we all rely on every day to work and learn. With the addition of the Involvio platform and team, Webex will accelerate the pace of building new integrations and expand industry solutions to help power a new world of hybrid work. We share Cisco’s vision for powering an inclusive future and look forward to all that Cisco and Involvio can accomplish together.
To our community of users, customers, partners, and investors who have been part of our journey so far, thank you! We are grateful for the trust you’ve placed in us and tremendously proud of the work we’ve done together.
